How It Works STEP 1 ENROLL & GET STARTED When you join, you’ll start by choosing a 3-day or 4-day training split based on what fits your schedule best right now. The Project is designed to adapt to a wide range of experience levels, with flexible exercise swaps and adjustable workouts to match your confidence, equipment, and training background. Once inside, you’ll have full flexibility to adjust exercises, swap equipment, and progress at the pace that fits your needs. However, we recommend being comfortable with basic foundational movements before joining The Project. If you’re completely new to lifting, or want to build more confidence with fundamental movement patterns and exercise technique first, we recommend starting with one of our separate Foundations programs before transitioning into The Project. What equipment do I need? We highly encourage joining a fully-equipped gym for access to a greater range of exercises and weights. That said, every workout includes multiple exercise options so you can adapt to the equipment available at your gym or train at home if needed. How many days will I workout? When you join The Project, you’ll choose between a 3-day or 4-day training split based on what fits your schedule best. If your availability changes, you can request to move up or down between splits at any time! If you want to train 5 days per week, you can add in workouts from our Focus Workout collection. These sessions complement the main program and allow you to give extra attention to specific areas like chest, arms, glutes, and more. This structure allows you to stay consistent without being locked into a rigid schedule. How long are the workouts? Each workout includes three sections: Warmup & Activation (5-10 minutes) Full Workout (about 70-90 minutes) Quick Workout (about 35-45 minutes) When you begin each session, you will complete your Warmup & Activation section, then choose between either the Full or Quick workout based on your schedule. The Quick Workout focuses on the most important exercises from that session, with adjusted volume so you can still train effectively when time is limited. Every workout includes both options, giving you flexibility to adjust from day to day without falling off the plan. How will I know if I'm doing exercises correctly? Every exercise includes detailed demo videos and clear form cues built directly into your workouts. You’ll also have access to our in-app community, where you can ask questions and get guidance from both our coaches and other members! Additionally, if you’re enrolled in The Project: Elite, you’ll receive direct messaging support and can submit form videos for review. This allows us to help you make adjustments, train safely, and get the most out of each movement. Does The Project include cardio? Yes, The Project includes full access to our library of goal-oriented cardio programs, designed to support goals ranging from fat loss and general health to endurance and performance. You can start, stop, or switch between cardio programs at any time, allowing your cardio plan to evolve as your goals change. Does The Project include nutrition and meal plans? The core Project program is training-only and does not include macro goals, meal plans, or nutrition coaching. If you enroll in The Project: Elite, you’ll receive personalized protein and calorie goals, with re-assessments at each check-in, along with seamless syncing with MyFitnessPal or Cronometer. This allows you to pair optimal nutrition targets with smart workouts to boost your results towards your specific goals. The Project is designed to work for a wide range of individuals with varying goals and experience levels. However, there are a few situations where you may need either VIP Coaching for a fully personalized plan, or require additional medical clearance: Highly specialized training or advanced goals: If you have distinct needs regarding training or nutrition, or are pursuing advanced goals like competitive bodybuilding, Lifestyle Coaching or Competition Coaching is the better fit. Injuries or rehab: We do not provide physical therapy or injury rehab. If you have clearance from your doctor to exercise, but still have limitations, Lifestyle Coaching allows us to safely tailor your plan to your needs. Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, we recommend clearance from your physician regarding lifting and nutrition, and strongly suggest Lifestyle Coaching so your plan can be adapted to your needs throughout your pregnancy. Post-partum: If you are within six months post-partum, doctor’s clearance is advised before starting The Project. Eating disorders or body dysmorphia: We recommend working with a specialized professional first. Once you are cleared to train safely, we welcome you to join The Project: Training Only in conjunction with your care team’s recommendations. How does the subscription work? Your subscription to The Project or The Project: Elite automatically renews every 4 weeks, with full access to your program for as long as you remain active. Is there a minimum commitment period? Progress of any kind takes time, and there is often some groundwork that needs to be done when first starting your plan. We request all new clients commit to a 12-week startup period. This timeframe allows for results to begin compiling and for us to learn how your body is responding to different adjustments. How much does Lifestyle Coaching cost? Our Lifestyle Coaching program prices range depending on your needs and enrollment period, and fall within the industry averages for personal online coaching of $250-$500 month. We offer multiple payment options for Lifestyle Coaching in order to make this program accessible for people with various circumstances. Your full macro goals are individualized to you and adjusted as you progress, allowing you to track your food and utilize a flexible nutrition approach. You will also receive structured meal plan outlines, with baseline adjustments for allergies or intolerances, to guide you with simple meal ideas. This approach is ideal for most individuals looking to transform body composition and improve overall health. If you have advanced physique goals, are looking for major lifestyle transformation, are a bodybuilding athlete, or desire elevated accountability and precision, please inquire about High-Level or Competition Coaching. How will my training and cardio plan work? We will first find out about more about your history, goals, and needs. From here, we curate a plan that is efficient and realistic, and deliver it to you via your personal account on our app. Every detail is covered - and not only will you know what to do, but why you're doing it. As you progress, your plan progresses with you, so that you are not only achieving those goals, but blending fitness into your lifestyle long-term. What equipment do I need? Our coaching program is all about tailoring your plan to YOU. We work with the equipment you have available - whether you are working out at home or the gym, or a combination! While we highly encourage joining a gym for access to a greater variety of exercises and more weights, we understand that every individual has different needs, and provide alternative exercise options for various setups. If you are working out at home, we will help you with equipment recommendations to best optimize your investment in your at-home setup. How will I know if I'm doing exercises correctly? We provide you with detailed exercise videos and form cues right within your workouts. Plus, we're here to answer any question you may have. We also encourage sending form videos using our easy video upload portal, which we will review and help you make adjustments to continuously improve form - making sure you are safe and getting the most out of each movement. Will I receive a meal plan? At Iron Society, we embrace a sustainable, flexible philosophy around food. You will be provided with personal macro targets based on your history, current intake levels, and your health and fitness goals. You will also receive structured meal plan outlines, with baseline adjustments for allergies or intolerances, to guide you with simple meal ideas. As you progress and your body changes, we will continuously modify your goals as needed to ensure you are always moving forward. Instead of eating strictly from a list of "good and bad foods" - our methods focus on nourishing your body and eating foods you enjoy. We want you to be able to maintain your results, and promote a healthy life, long into the future. I have never tracked macros before, will I be able to do this? We know it can sound overwhelming if you have never tracked macros before! But we've got you. Your coach will help you understand and break down the process into small, easy-to-implement steps. We meet you where you're at, and rely on our philosophy of "layering" to ensure you have a solid understanding before moving onto the next step. Beyond tracking, we also implement a holistic approach utilizing habits and various intuitive and portion-based nutrition methods. Are there any restrictions on eligibility for Lifestyle Coaching? While we coach a wide range of individuals with varying needs and goals, there are a few situations that require additional medical clearance or partnership with a professional who specializes in your needs. Medical conditions require doctor's clearance. We do not provide physical therapy for rehab or recovery from an injury. If you have clearance from your doctor to resume exercise, we will work in conjunction with their recommendations. If you are pregnant, we require additional clearance from your physician in regards to lifting and nutritional needs, and will work in conjunction with their recommendations. If you are recently post-partum (within 6 months), we require doctor's clearance to resume exercise. If you have a diagnosed eating disorder or struggle with disordered eating, we recommend working with a registered dietician who specializes in helping you with your needs. Once you are recovered, we are more than happy to work in conjunction with your doctor/dietician on the training aspect. Do I need Facebook to be part of the Iron Society community group? Nope! Our Iron Society community groups hang out right within our app! Brooke is coached by Coach Shayla Brooke started working with Coach Shayla in our Lifestyle Coaching program in August 2020. "Brooke and I have been working together for a long time and we've tackled so many stages of her journey together! Over the past six months especially, she's has really stepped up and taken it to the next level. She is dominating every aspect and taking FULL ownership of her success. I'm so beyond proud of her grit, determination, and incredible work ethic - no matter what life throws at her. What is the most rewarding part of your health and fitness journey? Feeling like I'm the best version of myself & showing up for myself even on the days I don't want to. What positive changes have you experienced as you focus on your goals? I overall have a healthier lifestyle. It has encouraged my husband to start his own fitness journey. What is one tip or piece of advice you would give to someone just getting started on their own fitness journey? Even though it can be intimidating at first, just start! Everyone started out in the same position as you. Show up for yourself. Once you get started and start seeing how many ways it positively affects your life, you will look forward to putting in the daily work! What challenges have you faced that you have had to overcome, or are working to overcome? Navigating being a full time employee, a mom & a very loaded sports schedule for my son does not always make it easy for things to flow seamlessly day in and day out. You have to prioritize yourself and find the time to allow yourself to work on your health. You can't pour from an empty cup. The days that I struggle to find the time or plain just don't feel like it.. are usually when I have the best workouts! What's your favorite exercise to go in and crush during a workout? Hip thrusts😎 If you had to eat one meal, for the same meal, every day, what would it be? Pizza What goal or situation in your life prompted you to join Iron Society? I joined Iron Society in 2020 after covid hit. During that time, I completely let myself go. I weighed the heaviest I'd ever weighed in my life, had no energy, hated looking in the mirror & overall did not feel happy in my own skin. My main goal was to shed that weight and gain a positive relationship with myself and my body. Here I am nearly 5 years later, still loving it just as much as I did back then.

Feeling super strong, having better sleep, and more energy to do everything else I love. What positive changes have you experienced as you focus on your goals? Found a new hobby, running, as well as have been able to inspire friends to make some small changes too. What is one tip or piece of advice you would give to someone just getting started on their own fitness journey? Any movement is good, just start. AND carbs are good, drink more water, rest is just as important as workouts and nutrition! What challenges have you faced that you have had to overcome, or are working to overcome? Meal planning and tracking were rough at first but Coach Emmie really helped with simplifying the process. That’s when I really saw the changes. What's your favorite exercise to go in and crush during a workout? Any and all squat variations, yes even Bulgarian Split Squats! If you had to eat one meal, for the same meal, every day, what would it be? Pizza! What goal or situation in your life prompted you to join Iron Society? I needed to overhaul my routines and how I was taking care of myself. Iron Society felt like a one stop shop. And I was right 😊

Chris started working with Coach Chris in our Competitor Coaching program to prep for his first bodybuilding competition in September of 2023, and has since moved into his building season and is crushing it! "He has exceeded expectations in every way imaginable by putting on quality muscle mass and following his program to the T! There hasn’t been a week that Chris has not been super consistent with his nutrition, training, and recovery. He is always quick to implement the changes we make and is on top of communicating when something isn’t going as planned. To see his mindset shift over these past months has been a true honor. I work at a psychiatric center and I work with kids as a rec staff. What is the most rewarding part of your health and fitness journey? Feeling better and improving my confidence and I enjoy competing in bodybuilding shows. What positive changes have you experienced as you focus on your goals? Besides looking good I have seen that my progress in the gym has really improved my outlook and shows throughout other aspect of my life, challenges I may face in life. What is one tip or piece of advice you would give to someone just getting started on their own fitness journey? Have realistic expectations and accomplish one goal at a time. What challenges have you faced that you have had to overcome, or are working to overcome? Worrying about things that are beyond your control. What's your favorite exercise to go in and crush during a workout? Tricep push downs! If you had to eat one meal, for the same meal, every day, what would it be? Beef brisket barbecue What goal or situation in your life prompted you to join Iron Society? I wanted to get really dialed in my nutrition and training and I thought this was the time to do it!
